MagMatrix Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Magnesium Sulfate Board

MagMatrix Fire Rated Structural Boards is the green board help get the green target building system.

Unlike Portland Cement-based boards and pours, MagMatrix Magnesium boards contain no hazardous components such as crystalline silica and hexavalent chromium, and the dust is not an irritant. In contrast cases of extreme exposure to Portland-based products, the results can lead to adverse health outcomes and worse.

Unlike Portland cement-based boards, there are no environmental concerns from extremely high energy consumption in manufacturing cement, and the related air pollution, such as the release of dioxin, NOx, SO2, and particulates. In contrast, the production of Portland cement contributes to about 10 % of world carbon dioxide emissions and is the most energy-intensive industry in the world.

Unlike Plywoods and OSBs, MagMatrix Magnesium boards do not contain any formaldehyde or adhesives, nor mold or termite abatement chemicals. MagMatrix Magnesium board is also naturally mold and termite-resistant.

MagMatrix Magnesium board can be recycled for agricultural uses and is landfill-friendly.

Low Energy Manufacturing Process

MagMatrix Magnesium Sulfate board is Manufactured using inorganic substances and alkaline resistant fiberglass mesh. The product is naturally cured using little to no energy through cold fusion unlike similar competitive products on the market which use autoclaving technology.

Magnesium Sulfate board manufacturing has is a reduced carbon footprint. It consumes only about 25% to 50% of the energy needed to produce calcium hydroxide or Portland cement. Additionally, the extreme green curing phase allows the material to capture CO2 carbon dioxide.

Eco-Friendly Raw Material

MagMatrix Magnesium sulfate board manufactured process combines magnesium and oxygen with pressure and heat to create magnesium oxide (MgO). The MgO has the characteristics of stone after heating. After being ground into powder, it gets mixed with water, chloride, sulfate (or Epsom salts) and wood dust (cellulose), perlite, and a handful of other materials.

so the board is non-toxic and free from formaldehyde, benzenes, solvents, and oil-based chemicals. The boards are certified as free of hazardous or deleterious material. It is excellent for people with allergies, can protect indoor air quality.
